The ideal place for ejpying the great tuscan countryside and is magnificent weather!
To the west you will see the the front lawn and on beyond the hedge of blooming oleander the olive grove.
Southwards you overlook the plains of Lucca and see the towers of the city.
Into the house:
From the terrace you can both enter the kitchen and the living room.
The kitchen:
Fully equipped with a 90cm hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave , kettle, and an American coffee machine.
There is massive old chestnut table with raffia covered chairs.
An incredibly old (dates back to the 18th cent.) magnificently restored kitchen cupboard containing the crockery and kitchen utensils.
The sitting room:
There is a beautifully “intarsiato” olive tree table with 8 chairs.
to the right a comfortable sofa with 2 armchairs and an ottoman nestle around the fireplace framed in tiles from Vietri.
Two huge glass windows offer the visitors a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside.
The small sitting room:
Proceeding into the house you find another little and very cosy sitting room with a sofa, two armchairs and a traditional chestnut chest of drawers.
This room can easily house 2 extra guests.
The downstairs bedroom:
Opposite to the small sitting room there is a twin bedroom with an old (18th cent.) Lucca-style decorated wardrobe.
The downstairs bathroom:
Green tiles make the nice atmosphere of this bathroom. It is also fully equipped for the disabled.
Boiler room and laundry:
The heating system is housed in this room where also the washing machine and washing basin are at the guests’ disposal.
Iron and ironing board are both kept here too.
Storage room:
a 2 sqm storage room is available for getting your luggage out of the way.

The stairs:
At the end of the downstairs corridor the stairs lead up to the first floor. Midway up a wide window offers a romantic view of the hills with a 16th century stone bell tower emerging in the distance.
Double bedroom:
Two single beds with antique Florentine upholstered headboards welcome the guest to this nice room with in-suite bathroom. A beautiful wardrobe and matching chest of drawers offer our guests all the necessary room for their clothes.
The two beds can very easily be made into a double bed.
Master bedroom:
When entering this room there is a sense of comfort and relaxing atmosphere. Apart from the large double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers two beautiful old-style little armchairs are there to enrich the room and make it cosier.
Master bathroom
The only bathroom with an ancient-style bathtub and fittings, it is undoubtedly another place where our guests can enjoy the view. |
